In 2015, 21% of Canada’s economic activity was conducted through the public sector. Local, regional, provincial and federal governments deliver a wide-range of public services that impact each of us every day. With one in every four jobs being in the public sector, it is imperative that public sector service delivery be efficient and effective.
We live in an era where citizens’ expectations are rapidly changing, where their needs are met faster and in more innovative ways. The public sector must adapt to these changing expectations by moving to more client-centered delivery models that focus on delivering better outcomes rather than just managing inputs.
